bad breath

when I do not speak, 

it is not for 

a lack of thought. 

rather, I am afraid 

that you will one day

sniff out 

from the undertones 

of my 

hushed breath, 

the rancid stench 

of rotting words 

and moldy feelings

left unsaid.
